Met up Boyfriend at Outram Park Control Station.
From there, we walked down the streets of Chinatown,
Heading to Buddha Tooth Relic Temple.
Along the way, Boyfriend bought a bottle of Herbal Tea for me!!
As we walked past a herbal tea stall outside a ulu shopping mall, he suddenly said something about Herbal Tea.
I actually had no idea whether he was talking to me or himself.
It's seemingly that he was saying that his mum brewed herbal tea today.
And he had the intention to bottle it up and bring it out for me to drink.
But he forgotten about it.
I did not reply or said anything. (Because I don't know what to say. LOL.)
He decided to return to the stall and buy one.
So I chose a 'Bird's Nest & White Fungus' drink (Weather's been extremely hot, thus I need something cooling and also, to 'yang yan' i.e. to improve and to beautify my skin. LOL.)
I was touched by this sweet act of Boyfriend's.
aAAaaWWww.. And he really makes my heart melt at that instant.
I'm definitely appreciative of his caring gesture.
Thanks baby!!! Lots of Love to you!!! =)

Thereafter, we continued with our journey to the temple under the scorching hot sun.
Sweating like drenched kids playing in the rain, we were so tired and even irritated by the big round ball of fire.
Boyfriend and I were grumbling about being hot.
Anyways, he grumbles more lah. =X LOL.

Finally, we reached our destination!!!
And I was absolutely glad that we do not need to suffer under the torture of the glaring hot sun anymore.
At least we can seek refuge in the temple. =)
Moreover it's air-conditioned inside okays. LOL.
So, the moment I'm at the doorstep of Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, my camera started to get energetic and began its snapping business.
Do enjoy the pics from now!! :p

This pic below is the Symbolic Buddha for my Zodiac, Ox.

And there is the Symbolic Buddha for Boyfriend's Zodiac too i.e. Rat.

Hais. Can't even wear off-shoulders.
I'm wearing it and I don't even know it was prohibited as it is to show respect to the Buddha by wearing the appropriate attire required.
Thank god they allowed me to enter the temple thereafter as a lady would give out cloths for covering bare shoulders and backs or even for putting around your waist to cover your sexay legs when you are wearing shorts or mini-skirt.
It's really thoughtful of the management, yeah?? =)

There are even fake trees and lanterns to hang your wishes!! $2 per token for wishes to be written on papers (to be hung on the trees in the temple) designated for your Chinese Zodiac and $500 per token for wishes to be written on lanterns (to be hung inside or outside the temple at a high-above-ground area).

After admiring the beauty of the temple layout with its magnificent statuesque at Level 1, we took a lift to Level 4 whereby the Buddha Tooth Relic exhibit is.
We were not allowed to wear our shoes into the designated area.
Nonetheless, photography is strictly prohibited too. =(

And we were lucky enough to get an eye-opener of the Buddha Tooth Relic.
We nearly missed the good opportunity to see the Tooth Relic as we only reached the temple at around 3.05pm.
After exploring Level 1 for approximately 10 minutes, we had only 15 minutes to spend on the most important sector of all i.e. the Buddha Tooth Relic exhibit as 3.30pm is the closing time.
Upon stepping into the palace-alike area, I was definitely astonished by the grand majestic outlook of the whole layout.
It was elegant.
Seemingly an Art Museum. But much better.
The Buddha Tooth Relic is being kept in a huge gold casing-alike alter (which I simply do not know how to put into words to describe) behind an enclosed glass area.
It was rather far from my sight and I could not see clearly.
I'm suffering from myopia and I did not bring my glasses along.
Thus, I assume that the Tooth Relic is being kept behind the enclosure.
Much to my delight, so much gold has been used in the construction of the statuesque and the enclosure for the Tooth Relic.
And I had read from one of the reference that gold is to be offered to Buddha as this is a symbolic act to take away the greed and materialistic character of human beings.
By offering it to Buddha, we are seeking for forgiveness and thus, bringing us to generosity.
Upon the Buddha Tooth Relic 'watching', Boyfriend and I went up to Level 5 i.e. the Roof Garden after donating some money to the 'Buddha Tooth Relic' Charity Box.

Pictures of Roof Garden!!!

There's this portrait of a Buddha (unknown name) along the corridors of the Garden.
Thought it might be interesting. :)

So there's this enormous 'turning sutra' in this hut-alike pavilion and by turning it for rounds means that you have completed a chant of prayers for a few hundred or thousand times (I forgotten about whether hundreds or thousands or otherwise.)

Interesting enough.
Boyfriend started off first turning.
I followed thereafter.
All I could remember my head was spinning and I think I did a total of six rounds after a baby interrupted my path ahead when her dad was carrying her meddling with the 'turning sutra'.
But it's okays.
Went out to the garden to do my exploration again.
Indeed a true beauty.
I was captivated by the garden already.
And my heart is just as peaceful as the garden. LOL.
It really look like some sort of a Japanese Garden but a much 'mini' one in size.

Thereafter, Boyfriend and I went down to Level 3 where there's really an 'Art Museum'.
Exhibits of artefacts are all around the exhibition hall.
And I couldn't stop snapping again.
Here are some of my 'works'.

Cute Buddha Statuesque with an 'act cute' pose!! :p

Smiley Darlie!!! =D

Within the exhibition, there's also sets of stories printed up on the exhibition boards, depicting about the life story of a Buddha.

Actually we wanted to go explore Level 2 too.
But it was closed.
For some unknown reasons.
We proceed to Basement for free lunch and water!!
The temple will give out food everyday to the public.
And we have had bee hoon with vegetables and brinjals aka eggplant.
Boyfriend hates eggplants so he gave me every single bit of his.
Gosh!! The food's really a lot can??
I still manage to finish up the whole plate of food without a single wastage.
LOL. And moreover, with a glass of water, my stomach is exceptionally full.

With our stomachs filled, we just stroll around Chinatown aimlessly.
Actually, we were looking for a dessert stall somewhere around the night market.
But I forgotten the stall name!!!
We were tired and gave up on that idea.
Sad.
You can call me a glutton for all I care but I absolutely craved for the desserts from that stall okays.
Lingered along the streets of Chinatown and some of its malls.
And we came to People's Park Centre where lots of travel agencies are located.
I do not know why but as we walked, we were walking towards the foodcourt!!!
Here we are!!!
Eating again!!! AAaAAaAHHhHHHhhh!!!
LOL. Okays. Same old thing. I'm going to grow fat till burst.
We settled down.
I'd have a Green Bean Soup and Boyfriend just had a mocha drink.
Yummy!!! I love Green Bean Soup as always.
Although its not my most beloved Barley Ginko Nut with Beancurd Skin, I still like the taste of it.
Meanwhile, photo-taking session again!!!

After the whole food war, we went to Bugis and took a train back to my neighbourhood area.
Boyfriend wanted to get a haircut.
Hence, I accompanied him to the nearby mall's salon.
After a whole estimated 45 minutes, he finally done with the new crown.
Initially thought it looks kind of weird and punkish on him.
Subsequently, I'm getting used to it and realise that actually he's quite cute in it.

As night falls, it's time to send me home.
As usual, Boyfriend send me straight to the doorstep of my house.
Now, the story comes.
It started when I was digging for keys in my bag.
To my horror, I'd forget about bringing my keys.
After a million times of pressing the door bell and ringing up my sis, there was no response from her.
So I'd sent her an sms but no reply.
I was getting worried and skeptical about the possibility of me lying on the streets.
Thank goodness that Boyfriend was with me all the time and my fear went away unknowingly.
Boyfriend accompanied me to the nearby community centre whereby there's a foodcourt for us to get pampered with air-conditioned area and food.
Yes!! Food!! You heard it.
WE ARE EATING AGAIN.
Had fish meat bee hoon soup for us because all other choices are sold out. POUTS.
It's rather pathetic.
Yes!! It's my fault.
Boyfriend been nagging at me ever since.
Yes. I ought to do a self-reflection on upgrading on my self-responsibility.
But at least he's with me despite his naggings about missing out his shows because of me.

At Foodcourt. Boyfriend's indeed happy with his haircut.
He's falling head over heels over them!!

Nonetheless, he continues by acting cool. LOL.

So we sat at the benches outside an office of the CC as we watched the foodcourt's closing for the day.
We simply just 'nua' there when I was calling and messaging my mum, dad, sis & even called Yali. =.=
LOL. Thanks Yali for your attention at least and informing me that ah mei's presence at her friend's BBQ. And even helped me to sms ah mei.
Done whatever I could for SOS.
But to no avail.
I only can wait.
Meanwhile, we kill boredom with pictures again!!! =P

Pouting at my dismay.

Bewildered.

Back to Normal. xD

All our dun-wanna-grow-up pics. :p

aAaaWWwww.. Simply love this pic!!! Love Boyfriend in his megawatt smile!!
I have a thing for his smile and it's my fetish!!! LOL. :p

Shortly, mum called and wanted me to proceed to another place to meet her later on at midnight.
And wanted Boyfriend to head home first.
But Boyfriend wouldn't.
He insisted to be with me as he's not at ease with me being alone late at night.
We had waited since 8.30pm or rather 9pm plus at the cc after we finished our dinner.
It's really sweet for Boyfriend to stay with me through the night.
I absolutely appreciate this thoughtful gesture of his.
I love him more than anything else. :P
Thanks Fei Fei for being so caring!!! =)

Felt kind of sick too.
Having slight flu in the midst.
Thinking that it must have been the work of Darling.
The culprit who spread the virus to me.
Earlier on, I was totally fine.
Boyfriend sneezed between intervals when we were at Chinatown.
Gosh!! He even purposely sneeze near me okays!!!
That's gross enough.
And now, I got it from him.
'Super happy loh'.

After waiting for some time, I felt my throat was like drying up in the desert.
Pester Boyfriend to accompany me to 'Cheers' located at Level 1 of the cc.
Bought Vitasoy and happily return to the place where we were waiting.
Sat there and slack while enjoying our Vitasoy.
At last, my mobile started to ring.
Answered the phone and to my surprise, its little sis!!!
Her mobile's battery had gone flat in the midst of the BBQ.
Thus, after numerous missed calls and an sms to her, I couldn't call through her mobile thereafter.
Nonetheless, she was home.
And I'm glad.
Time that I reached home was around 12.10am.
Great, isn't it?
Only to blame my stupidity and forgetfulness.
Bid goodbye to Boyfriend.
And he's cabbed home.
Felt the sense of guilt as to make him spend for nothing.
I should go reflect on myself again. =.=

Anyways, thanks a lot to those who had been there for me and expressed your concern for me when I'm in trouble.
I definitely love all of you to bits!! ;p
